Kenya is a beautiful country with friendly people having some of the best conditions and spots for kitesurfing. It is not only kitesurfing that drives tourists to Kenya. The country is well known for its national park, savanna, and wild animals, mountains (Mt Kilimanjaro and Mt Kenya), tribes – world most known tribe Maasai.

The best season to kitesurf in Kenya is the dry season and there are two. The best one is after “the big” rainy season – you will enjoy great wind from late May to September and during the second dry season from December to February. It can be windy during rainy season too, but the wind is a bit more unpredictable, the air is humid and therefore the storms can come from nowhere.

White sandy beaches, turquoise water, shallow lagoons or nice waves bring kitesurfers each year. Main kitesurfing hubs in Kenya are Diani beach, Watamu and Nyali lagoon just outside of Mombasa.
