Overview

Edit

Hunter beach tends to see the same thermal push that Jetty does.

Booties are recommended but it is rideable without. That place is best on higher tides as the hike to the water on low tides gets old through the soft mud. The sea floor is thick, sticky greyish mud that will suck in your feet and makes for murky water. Clam shells and the rocks by the launch.

It is your responsability to check whether kitesurfing is allowed at the spot; you might need a 'special permit' or membership from a local kite organization, etc. Local rules can change. Respect others - kiters or not; kite safely and enjoy the wind!
