Bald Point
/ year
This spot is 50 miles South of Tallahassee. It is not a bad drive from the Florida’s Capital. It is frequented by the FSU Kiteboarding Club. Wind here blows strongest at sunrise in the Fall and Spring and dies gradually through the day. Flat water at low to mid tide. Wind chop and high tide. No real swell. Good spot for short downwinders.
It is your responsability to check whether kitesurfing is allowed at the spot; you might need a 'special permit' or membership from a local kite organization, etc. Local rules can change. Respect others - kiters or not; kite safely and enjoy the wind!
