Anne’s Beach is around Mile Marker 74 in Lower Matecumbe, Islamorada, FL.
Like all spots in the keys, you have clear blue shallow water. The setup area can be small during high tide, but it is shallow water so it is a good spot to launch from the water. This can be an excellent flat water Kiteboarding spot. This one of a few natural beaches in the Keys. It is a good option for Beginner Kiteboarders. Most Kiters use the second entrance (farther south), on the sand area to the left of the parking lot for setup. This beach gets very crowded during weekends and peak season.
High temperatures typically stay around the 80’s. The wintertime comes with highs in the 70’s with temperatures at dropping down into the 50’s through winter nights.
