This is the ocean location for Ocean Riding only. Waves can be large in size especially with Northerly winds. Most of the locals do 10 mile downwinders. This can be done with Intermediate to Pro-level riders. Great opportunity for Kitesurfing!
It is great when the wind is out of the N, NE, SE, S.
Amenities: there are numerous amenities along the beach depending on where you are. Most of these amenities are parks and have the common park amenities.
It is your responsability to check whether kitesurfing is allowed at the spot; you might need a 'special permit' or membership from a local kite organization, etc. Local rules can change. Respect others - kiters or not; kite safely and enjoy the wind!
