The prime kitesurfing season in Azerbaijan runs from May to October, with the best wind conditions between June and September. The Caspian Sea delivers steady thermal winds ranging from 12 to 30 knots, making it ideal for freeride and freestyle sessions. The water temperature is comfortable in summer, but outside of peak season, you might want a thin wetsuit unless you enjoy a brisk dip.
