“I think the best wind direction is SW or South. From what I hear it doesn’t get good all that often, but both times I have kited there it was really fun. Today there were tons of migrating birds on the island, including some big white Pelicans. Water was still pretty cold. Parked at the very west end of the Four Seasons Campground/Resort. Tethered to the truck. Nice guy, Scott, owns the property. People usually drop off 5 bucks to launch there.” – Rick Kalamar
