This spot seems to be a favorite of Boise riders. Need more info look to the yahoo group Snowkiteidaho or Facebook group “Boise Kiteboarders” for more information
I just use all the sensors nearby. There are 3 that are close and looking at those and the BOI airport and Mtn Home airport
Early season before April this reservoir is usually pretty empty so it will only accommodate maybe 2~3 kiters on the water. Late in the season August it become pretty murky with algae.
It is your responsability to check whether kitesurfing is allowed at the spot; you might need a 'special permit' or membership from a local kite organization, etc. Local rules can change. Respect others - kiters or not; kite safely and enjoy the wind!
