Very long and sandy beach usually with not much crowd. The city has a great nightlife and a kite beach is just in front of the town! Stronger wind means bigger waves.
The longest kite season in SE Asia!
Wind
Anything between 10-20 knts, very consistent. More wind in the morning. Main season: Nov – April. From May – Oct (rainy season) wind is gusty and off-shore.
Dangers
Jellyfish (they come with SE wind, usually March – May). Buoys, swimmers, jet ski
It is your responsability to check whether kitesurfing is allowed at the spot; you might need a 'special permit' or membership from a local kite organization, etc. Local rules can change. Respect others - kiters or not; kite safely and enjoy the wind!
