The most famous spot on the island for foreigners and tourists (also the kite tourist).
Yes, you’ll have to carry your things to the beach (20-30 mins walk).
If you’re a beginner and not able to ride upwind, this is not the best spot, as there is always a lot of people walking on the beach and is going to be difficult to bring your kite back. It is not allowed to pass the flag and dangerous if you pass the “point of no return”.

Usually windy during the day. Wind usually cuts off in the afternoon.
This spot works really good during the winter, and occasionally during summer when the wind is from the north-east to east.
Dangers
A lot of people walking on the beach.
Careful with occasional swimmers, they are not allowed to swim in the kite zone, but sometimes they do.
Please respect the kite rules and be careful with people that don’t.
Don’t ride outside of the designated area (it’s not allowed and you’re going to get a fine).
It is your responsability to check whether kitesurfing is allowed at the spot; you might need a 'special permit' or membership from a local kite organization, etc. Local rules can change. Respect others - kiters or not; kite safely and enjoy the wind!
