Overview

Best at low to half tide for beginners to leave room to rig up and allow some margin of error. The beach is long, sandy. with a bend in it at the end so if you are going downwind you eventually just come back into the beach. Lots of space with only a few odd rocks.

By kitesurfing spots NZ

It is your responsability to check whether kitesurfing is allowed at the spot; you might need a 'special permit' or membership from a local kite organization, etc. Local rules can change. Respect others - kiters or not; kite safely and enjoy the wind!
