EditLake Garda is the biggest lake in Italy, halfway between Milan and Venice, on the edge of Dolomites – views there are definitely scenic! Lake is more than 50 km long and almost 17 km wide and has 5 islands. Lake is deep – more than 100 m in the average and the deepest point reaches 346 m. There are many kite spots around the lake, some of them reachable only by boat. Most of the kite spots are located in the northern part (both sides of the lake), Brenzone sul Garda, Porto, Campione, Limone sur Garda, Navene. Not every spot is beginner friendly, some spots constantly reach 30 knts. Mostly thermal wind so statistics might not be really accurate
