It gets deep quickly but is a good flat water spot. Summer info: However, there are always many bathers and since the beach itself is sheltered. There will also be a lot people in wind from east directions. Therefore, it is best if you go some way out on the chin to start as most people are close to the parking lot (you can, however, encounter a few naked Germans sunbathing out there)

Perfect in wind from E-S, you can also sail from E to N on the outside of the chin towards Hundested but it is not that common.
It is your responsability to check whether kitesurfing is allowed at the spot; you might need a 'special permit' or membership from a local kite organization, etc. Local rules can change. Respect others - kiters or not; kite safely and enjoy the wind!
