Overview

Will work in any breeze with W; NW produces flat water and SW creates small ride-able waves.
It is possible to ride on the north side of the causeway but its shallow and muddy.
The beach is short and covered in logs so launching can be tricky.
There is a wind sensor at the Ferry Terminal which updates hourly.

It is your responsability to check whether kitesurfing is allowed at the spot; you might need a 'special permit' or membership from a local kite organization, etc. Local rules can change. Respect others - kiters or not; kite safely and enjoy the wind!
