The prime kitesurfing season in Argentina generally spans from October to March. During this period, the Pampero winds and consistent coastal breezes create optimal conditions for kiteboarders. The best months are often from November to February, when the wind is most reliable. Also note that this is the Summer time ;)
The predominant wind, the Pampero, blows from the west and southwest, offering steady wind speeds ranging from 15 to 25 knots.
The capital Buenos Aires offers kitesurfing opportunities along the Rio de la Plata. Acassuso (north) and La Plata (south) areas provide accessible spots for riders to enjoy the sport against the backdrop of the cityscape.
