My Hoa Lagoon is located in Vietnam along the South Chinese Ocean. It belongs to Ninh Thuan province, South Central region; the provincial capital is Phan Rang – Thap Cham city, 340 km from Ho Chi Minh City
Wind: Daily windy from November through March, when strong and reliable trade winds (15-40 knots) from the North-North East (side-shore), provide ideal kiteboarding conditions.
During the low season, from June to August, the wind is lighter, comes from the South-Southeast, and may be affected by storms, with wind speeds of 5-25 knots.
Kite Sizes: Riders can expect to use kite sizes between 5-12m
Water Conditions: warm, shallow waters, knees deep, flat, and waves. If you go beyond the lagoon and reef break, about 500-1000 meters out to ride on the wave.
The water is crystal clear, and riders should be cautious of sharp coral on the seafloor, so wearing booties/gloves is recommended, especially for beginners.

My Hoa Lagoon has kiteboarding lessons and gear rentals, including a school, shop, and repair services. Riders can enjoy showers, toilets, food options, and parking facilities

My Hoa Lagoon is suitable for riders of all levels, from beginner to expert. The consistent trade winds and shallow, flat waters make it a perfect destination for riders of all skill levels to improve their kiteboarding skills.
Accommodation: Stay at kite school/guesthouse/hotel/homestay.
It is your responsability to check whether kitesurfing is allowed at the spot; you might need a 'special permit' or membership from a local kite organization, etc. Local rules can change. Respect others - kiters or not; kite safely and enjoy the wind!
