Edit

The most famous spot on the island for foreigners and tourists (also the kite tourist).
Yes, you’ll have to carry your things over the beach (20-30 mins walk).
If you’re a beginner and not able to ride upwind, this is not the best spot, as there is always a lot of people walking on the beach and is going to be difficult to bring your kite back.

Wind

Usually windy during the day. Wind usually cuts off in the afternoon.
Bring a small kite for the summer. Wind in the summer regularly goes over 30 knts.

Dangers

Edit

A lot of people walking on the beach.
Careful with occasional swimmers, they are not allowed to swim in the kite zone, but sometimes they do.
Please respect the kite rules and be careful with people that don’t.
Don’t ride outside of the designated area (it’s not allowed and you’re going to get a fine).
