Can be a good option if the wind is too west to be kiting at Waikanae. Closer to Wellington as well. Parking is right in front of the cafe and next to the beach. Best at mid-low tide, as at high tide there is very little beach. There is a bit more beach just north of the stream. At high tide you can access this area by the small bridge just east of the parking area.
