EditThe capital of kitesurfing in Ecuador. An open ocean spot with great waves on a reef that breaks 200 meters offshore and wind chop for your twin tip. Also, a number of great downwind pointbreaks to foil waves.

15-22 knots from May through December and foil wind year-round besides March.
It is your responsability to check whether kitesurfing is allowed at the spot; you might need a 'special permit' or membership from a local kite organization, etc. Local rules can change. Respect others - kiters or not; kite safely and enjoy the wind!
