Best in low tide.
Endless sandy beaches in the area. Flatwater area and nice waves, which tend to break away from the beach.
Wind
August & September: 25 knts, March – June: 10-25 knts, but not every day. Otherwise around 20 knts. Mostly side-offshore wind that turns side-onshore in the afternoon, in case wind is offshore, you can move to any other place (more south or north) from Cumbuco.
Dangers
Be careful with people swimming.
It is your responsability to check whether kitesurfing is allowed at the spot; you might need a 'special permit' or membership from a local kite organization, etc. Local rules can change. Respect others - kiters or not; kite safely and enjoy the wind!
